In the centre of Malmö, you will find this beautiful shop, run and owned by a cooperative of local craftsmen and artists, Formargruppen showcases a range of crafts that is constantly changing, but with a perpetual focus on high quality and handmade art products. Here you will find everything from hand printed textiles and ceramics to glass art and silver jewellery, and although all artists have their own style and expression, the typical Scandinavian light and purity is somehow ever-present.

Wallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik

Wallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik, a stoneware factory, restaurant and garden. The pottery here makes traditional stoneware out of clay from its own grounds. At Wallåkra, you can witness the whole process of making stoneware – from clay deposit to turning and burning to final product. There is a lovely shop in connection to the old kiln, and a restaurant in one of the warehouses. Wallåkra is open all year round, with tours, turning and food experiences as well as conference facilities.

In the small town Klippan in north-western Skåne you will find Klippans Yllefabrik - The Wool Factory of Klippan. This place has over 100 years of experience in local wool production and the shelves are filled with the cosiest plaids, blankets, pillows and textiles for kids. Strong colours and genuine materials characterize the selection, and since part of the shop is the factory’s outlet you can sometimes make real bargains here. Allproducts are manufactured using natural materials only, under strict quality control in their own factory.

In the beautiful Höganäs Market Hall you’ll find, Höganäsgruppen, a shop owned by a cooperative with some of Sweden’s most skillful and interesting artists and potters behind the brand. Höganäsgruppen produces and markets modern ceramic objects with special attention to design and quality. They believe in a local production where they can leverage on a ceramic tradition that dates back over one and a half centuries to aid them in creating new high-quality objects that honour the heritage.

Konsthantverksgruppen KAOS

Konsthantverksgruppen KAOS

About ten years ago, some local craftsmen in Skåne joined forces and formed the non-profit organization KAOS. Together they put together a joint exhibition and a shop where you can buy the members’ works and today the organization is made up of around 15 artisans with a connection to the surrounding area called Österlen. The shop can be found south of Kivik on the eastern coast of Skåne and all types of crafts are represented in here; textile, metal, glass, wood, ceramics, concrete and even paper.
